Noodle Peddler

Made from rice flour, a noodle dish features noodles, soup and a variety of relish. Introduced by the Teochews, noodle dishes became very popular in Thailand. Many among the newly arrived became noodle peddlers walking the streets with "the shop" carried on the shoulders. In those days, customers used to provide their own bowls.
